A Big Website for Big Construction

Shames_Website

We’ve all been to there, aimlessly wandering the aisles in awe of how much stuff there is to be seen in Home Depot, Best Buy, Wal-Mart and other big box stores. But few of us ever think about all of the work that goes into building these stores to hold all of that stuff. We were the same way, never giving it a second thought, until we met Carolyn Shames of Shames Construction. Carolyn has built an empire constructing big box stores in California and Colorado. As a female-owned Boulder, Colorado creative agency, we know firsthand the skill and expertise it takes to run a company, and we were excited to team up with another successful company Shames for a rebranding project.

Our specific tasks were to re-brand Shames Construction including logo design, print design and an integrated website redesign to match. Our creative team started with the logo and tagline, and then developed a full stationery suite complete with business cards, letterhead, envelopes and pocket folders. We then took that look and feel to the Shames Construction website.

The Boulder web design team worked with Shames directly and knew that being the builder of big stores, we would have to take the big and bold approach they bring to construction and match that personality on the website. The final website design leverages large photography that will both; showcases the Shames portfolio and drive engagement through their brand values: Creative, Connected and Proven. It’s truly a site that exists to be grand, and we’re pleased to present the fully re-branded Shames Construction corporate identity in both its digital and print versions.
